Please help me push to front page, recently I have a issue with my accommodation and I have a 50 by 100 land. So I thought of building a room and parlor so as to have a place to put my head. My question now is how much will cost me to build a room and parlor normal size. Thank you.

1000 blocks depending on design and space of room.
10 bags of cement to erect the block.
2 trip of ,double would be enough from,beginning to end.
12mm rod for lintel, like 8 would be enough.
5 bundles of Zinc ( 20 pieces per bundle ) would be enough. fpr wood, budget 250 - 300k.

To make it cheaper he can order Single for Mortal and use gutter sand to mould block.
Here in Benin, like 5 to 10 bags of granite would be enough and some people dont use it. Benin is mostly clay soil.
If I want to roof a room and parlour self contain then i wont spend more than 200k for wood. I'll meet Bush operator to give me wood, even if na soft wood, I buy two can of chemicals to spray it.

For a room self contain with toilet and kitchen then 600 blocks will be needed

If you can access forest reserve, you'll surely meet Operators to cut wood for you at a cheap price. in some places, if you're indigene or you know people in the community, you can give them money and hire operator to cut wood for you.

Thanks for this. Actually have two buildings in mind, I'll probably have to start with the one I can rent out, before the personal. Both are in Imo state

The 18 bags does it include the ones needed for moulding blocks? And why do you say just 6bags for mortal, does that mean block setting doesn't require much cement or what?

1000 blocks is sufficient to take it to roofing level.
A room is roughly 400 blocks, when you add kitchen, parlour and bathroom it becomes 1000 blocks.
For settings, from ground level to lintel level, 1 bag of cement will set 100 blocks.

Thanks for this, I appreciate. I'm learning, atleast it'll give me an estimate of what to expect. Please, does the 600blocks include foundation on a dry land?

Please peeps somebody was telling me sometimes ago that there is a low roof I can go For which is cheaper, pls anyone know about it? Help a friend. Just looking for how to reduce cost on wood.
