Don't travel by road

Its almost not safe
Na your own I gree with. Outside Abeokuta and Ibadan, I go to no where by road. I am travelling December 25th and returning early January. Tickets fully booked. Its cheaper to fly than to pay ransom after collecting beating by dirty Arabs. When Nigeria normalize, I will resume road trips, for now, not for me, not for my people.

Nice one op. I always do this when I'm traveling back to school... I stare at the vast land and ask my self why isn't this place inhabited?

Is overpopulation really a thing when we have this vast land and valleyshuh

And I also stay @ how wide and blue the sky and tell myself that hey, it's ok. The sky is wide enough for everyone to succeed in life...

If not for the insecurity, theres this incredible feeling about leaving and encountering nature...

Op, thank you for reminding us that we can also be children again... smiley smiley

This is for people that will travel by road, if you travel by air, you won't see anything once the plane goes up in the sky.

Traveling is part of enjoyment and education.

But as you travel, learn to look at the beauty of nature.

Make sure you look at the trees, rivers, rocks, mountains, valleys and the countryside.

Look at the houses on the way, in the remote areas and in the towns and cities as the journey progresses.

Make sure you appreciate the beauty of the Savannah in the north and the rainforest in the south for those going from north to south.

Try to behave as a child by asking questions in your mind concerning the small things you see on the way.

Questions like: Why does that bird I am seeing over there have 3 colors in it's feathers?

Why is that river flowing through that forest. Of course, those questions need not be answered. It only helps you to be a child temporarily.

It helps to heal someone's body and soul. It heals someone in a way undreamt of.

Don't just stay in the bus/car praying for the journey to end.

Try to enjoy the journey.

Make sure you buy any local delicacy of any town on the road if such delicacy is sold along the way.

Relax your mind, afterall being agitated during the journey would not suddenly land you where you are going. Why must you tense up when it would not help you in any way? It won't help you arrive sooner.

So relax your mind and make sure you enjoy your journey because it heals the brain.
You put pictures of people flying to their destination and yet speak of traveling as though you are talking to persons traveling by land. Oga nor dey misdirect people oh. For those who want to see trees, enjoy the view of rivers etc get your heart ready to also encounter the awesome beauty, unimaginable ambience and the breathtaking experience of bandits, armed robbers in uniform, boko haram, kidnappers, ritualists and of course a lot of evil spirits.

Many have traveled by road and the journey was a success.

It is totally safe to travel.

Don't allow accidents which are a norm to deter you, especially if you can't afford flight.

As you go, please don't forget to gift village people yam and rice, and even tomatoes and maggi.

So that you can return in peace.
Totally safe to travel? That you are lucky you went and came back does not mean others were so lucky. This is why I despise Nigerians and why they keep suffering unendingly. Always downplaying facts and truths... even if it stares them in the face. Always downplaying facts. America saw their silly and lackaidisacal attitude and decided to chalk off Nigeria from nations that persecute Christians. After all, they can't cry more than the bereaved.

With the ample evidence of danger, kidnappings, terrorism and banditry, someone will wake up and say its totally safe to travel.

No wonder Nigeria is where it is today. There are always stupid citizens backing the idiocy and lapses of the government, knowingly or unknowinlgy.

Nigeria will never normalise unless of course, you love to daydream which Nigerians normally love. Get ready to continue this new air flight life forever or hope for the dismemberment of the zoo.

You can't have your cake and eat it.

Thanks. I have lived half of my life in the air, it is nothing new and I could live the rest of my life flying which is basically what I do week in, week out by virtue of the nature of my job.

However just to let you know that sarcasm is the lowest form of wit. You could have passed same message without insulting a whole nation, at the bolded.

Bros you missed something here, you forget to write , as you are travelling from north to south , don't forget to look if bandit are on the way wait to kidnap you , or iswap are on the way waiting to kill you . My people abeg , as you are travelling don't relax your mind , pray from the begining of your journey till the end of your journey . Don't look at the birds or trees, because birds and trees safty are more assured than your safty in nigeria . Always pray for journey mercy.
