The point that hit me most is how many policemen at constable cadre get the moral to ask journalists, doctors, lawyers out or want to marry them why cos of their meager salary...more reason why they have to settle less or come to their level...a country where a senator salary will pay 100 policemen at 109k per month without an inch...too bad |

Mko123:Majority of the junior NIgerian police officers are not happy with the so called 20% increase in their salaries, because it is not included in the 2022 budget. They preferred general improvements in the logistics, accommodation and social security welfare of police officers, including scholarships for their children. The #EndSARS protests opened their eyes to the realities of the systemic failures in the NIgerian government and NIgeria Police Force. |

Lightway:People like you don’t go far in life. If you’ve read to understand, they weren’t even concerned about pay raise, but their social welfare. How can patrol police be responsible for fueling their own patrol van ?? From which bail money ?How many police stations has been built or renovated by government that you heard of? DPO’s are responsible for taking care of their stations, where do you expect the money to come from? Have you been to a police barrack in your state lately? Go there, take a picture and show us the conditions of that barrack, then you will understand that it is not about salary increase for them. |
