The irony of the FG being against Electronic transmission, despite its INEC, ICT, Network operators saying it's possible while giving various options shows an incompetent and fraud prone Government That direct and indirect primary thing which has been optional from time to political parties, was just infused in the bill to throw it out because it would be stupid rejecting electronic transmission solely in 2021.. |

The end game is rigging, so it doesn't surprise anybody...all these talks are to justify what will aid rigging...in 2021 this is what a self acclaimed giant of Africa will be proud to spill out to the rest of the world on its planned conduct of elections, when many parts of the world have long adopted electronic voting. |

Something can still be done about the network before the election. That's only if they really wish |

helinues:Exactly what The Presidency said, not the 2023 elections the electorate isn’t ready for electronic transmission just yet, we still need voters education on the subject but the 2027 elections for sure. |

Esseite:Of course INEC will claim that it is ready because they are quite aware that the President will not accent to it, How will they transmit the results from a rural LG up North that has no telephone mast? The Nigeria Communication Commission has said they are not ready for it, with the roll out & deployment of 5G next year, 2027 will be realistic. |

SmartProf:Are you not Nigerian, or you don’t know what you are talking about? Whether Electronic voting or human manual voting the results & outcome will still be the same, it always seems greener on the other side. If Buhari had signed the bill into law, people like you would have been the first to wail that he did it to give his party an advantage. Damned if he did, damned if he didn’t. Any which way, the perennial Wailers, must find a reason to wail. |

Shey na this Nigeria some people believe will be restructured. If common electronic transmission of result is a big concern what then will work in this country. God will punish all those that are still calling for Nigeria's yoonity. Everybody must go their separate ways so that people that want to adjust to modern life will decide the system that best fit them for development. |

ayzTIGER:Ignoramus who are you waiting for? Pack your Nigeria must go bags & go your way, or who are you begging to divide Nigeria for you? Blame your parents for giving birth to you in Nigeria, & stop cursing others for the shortcomings of your own parents. Lazy thing. |

Buhari and APC; they know they cant win any other election in Nigeria under free and fair election, so they want to make sure they leave enough loopholes to perfect their usual rigging. Nigerians need to resist them this time, useless party of bloodsucking vampires ![]() |

Giant of Africa. 301 LGAs, out of 774, do not have internet access. Clear indication of technological backwardness. |

So much for a yeye old man who kept crying about how he was rigged out every time he ran for President. Now that he is in office and has totally messed up the country and put the country into so much debt, the least he can do is give them a credible ele tions via this new Electoral Bill, but whosai. Buhari is a stubborn and ignorant old man being misled by mischievous and greedy thieves. APC know they lost 2019 election, if not for rigging and Supreme Court. They are not ready for free and fair election. |

Direct or indirect election plus we can't transmit election result via internet is one top secret to rigged out their Tinubu but they will not know. Boom Kano,Kaduna, kebbi,Bornu will be dropping big big vote for preferred northern choice There is nowhere MTN have not covered in this country they are just telling lies. If no internet while will such a place be given local govt status. When you check well the buck of the allege no internet area will be in the north. Buhari should be careful and make sure the election are free and fair otherwise it will rub off on him in one way or the other. |

You guys are not yet ready for free and fair elections yet and its way too obvious. Even Cisco in one of the workshops towards an improved elections had shown INEC that electronic transmission of results can be achieved with some special machines deployed towards it even in the remotest regions. Just why is this administration so hell bent on not giving the people what they are yearning for? |
