That stadium has the best pitch quality in the south east. Only the Enyimba stadium in Aba has something close to it. Hopefully, it will start by hosting age-grade football competitions for our male and female national teams since the SE has been overlooked in hosting such games with the usual excuse of bad pitches. FIFA cannot use the facility even for under 17, monimichelle knows that most of his pitch cannot be considered by FIFA but he use propaganda to deceive people. This is a decent stadium that could be used for High School games and not national teams.

Monimichelle was involved in Onikan Stadium grass but the stadium was built by another contractor. I believe in the future the current seating terraces would be demolished, then maybe a proper modern stadium would be built since the land has been secured.
