An Evil Man Killed My Cousin (his In-law) Because He Was Hurting His Sister. by Aloysiusleo(op): 8:30am On Dec 30, 2021
So my cousin got married into a family in Umueleagwa Ezinihitte Mbaise, since she got married this is the first time she's meeting the murderer (in two frames of this post), while her husband is in the UK.
She was cooking in the kitchen in her father-in-law's house and this man and his family told her to leave there and not cook there, which her father in-law and mother in-law objected to, she continued her cooking only to be attacked by the man and his wife, her food was poured and she was beaten.
She called her brother (the deceased) who was the leader of the youth forum in the church there, just a neighboring community. He came with some youths to try to talk the man against attacking his sister, while he was doing this, the youths were outside. The man turned back into his house and when my deceased cousin turned back maybe to leave or meet up with the other youths, this man shot him from behind and the bullet went through the scapula. While the other youths tried to get hold of the man, he started shooting sporadically, his ammunition finished and his son helped him replace it and he escaped while locking my bleeding cousin within, he later sent the police to come retrieve his family and up till now, he's been on the run.
My cousin was later carried to a nearby maternity, but he'd gave on the ghost while there. His house was burnt and scattered by the angry mob (consisting of youths from his village and those from the victims village)

I donno why humans can be this wicked

Justice needs to be serve and served really well, the man told my cousin that she came to liberate a family that he's already locked. That he'd hurt her and no one can say anything that he'd close the case with money.
He said he's gonna bring back the husband from the UK.
The criminal's name is Aguwa Mike Ugorji, and the villagers said this ain't the first time he's threatened someone that he'd kill the person.

Please help us get justice.

It's not an only Igbo problem. We have seen where siblings kill each other, husband killing their wife and vice versa, even nation fighting each other as is the case in Ethiopia presently. You lack content and your thought process is in dire need of reconfiguration.

The story doesn't look complete, must be one sided... Men should know when to involve themselves in their sister's family affair. The man is dead courtesy of his sister, if he had waited for the Inlaws to tackle their differences, he wouldn't be a dead man by now..

This is an act that demands the police to carry out a thorough investigation. In as much as I don't believe completely the write up here, the police should find out what the youth leader and his "men" actually went there to do. The youth leader on getting such info should rather have gone to the man's house with policemen. It's quite unfortunate that he has to pay with his life to save his sister, but I believe he should have approached the matter cautiously.

RIP youngman you died trying to protect your sister.

I will never support this man, but the lady is obviously a stubborn home breaker to the extent of mobilising mob to her in-law's family.

One can also easily say the man acted in self-defense because in this era of UGM, a group of youths were mobilized to his house to either kill him, burn down his property or harm members of his family.

In as much as you're tryna be fair here... This man threatened her life and promised to kill her while paying off the police to cover her case. Him and his family beat her up and the brother is the CYON (Catholic Youth Organisation of Nigeria) leader. He wanted to go there, but the other people who knew the man told him not to go alone, considering his pedigree, there are rumours he inherited his brother's house after killing him.

So he went there but walked to him alone. At least if youths from church goes to a neighboring village to cause stir, the youths from that village would react if they noticed a man there is being attacked, but in the end they joined forces against him.

This isn't the first time he's threatening someone with gun. He's lucky he ran away, youths in his community threatened to cut off his head and hang it on a spike.

That's very wrong, Igbos have a tradition and you just can't bring your family to come attack your in-laws except permitted by the lawn of the land.

She called her brother in because her husband tried to talk to him but to no avail, yet he kept on dishing threats and beatings.

May none of our sisters be so unfortunate as regarding in-laws
