If you were to choose which ceremony to perform which would it be and why.
Personally I beleive that the traditional marraige is the most important.
If I had my way I would just do a registry thing (with just the key people in attendance) and then a full scale traditional wedding.

i don't think there is such a things as traditional african weddings anymore as even these have a hint of western culture but if i was to pick one, i'd definitly pick african,

well for me both are important. when you perform the traditional marriage it means you respect your tradition and performing the white wedding is like inviting God to your marriage because without Him the whole thing'll just flop.

I dont agree with this statement. My uncle wedded in a catholic church many years before he did the traditional ceremony. They did not have the finances to do the two at the same time and the bride's father requested that they post pone the trad. The only thing I know is that many churches require proof of the girl's family consent and performance of the traditional rites usually suffices in that regard

white or traditional, it depends on the individual's belief. but i think the white one is better. it biblically binds you to just your partner. the traditional one gives room for more than wife(as a man). also based on the suit and wedding gown and other stuffs, i would like to have pictures of such in my sitting room. it would be lovely. white wedding will make you more careful about adultery cos you know, God's words are involved
