The reason for this is that the Nigerian Army is not an "investigating body", in other words, the Nigerian Army has no constitutional mandate to investigate anyone, like the Police and DSS can, and therefore cannot go to arrest a person

The only time the Nigerian Army can arrest a person is if that person is committing a crime in their presence.

And after arresting that person, they have no right to detain that person indefinitely. Their duty is to handover the suspect to the Police

What is Enugu state Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi doing about this unwarranted killings in his state. This can't happen in southwest States. General Lucky Irabor should be ashamed of himself. How could he be there and this is happening to people he shares ancestry and boundaries with him. He is a lame duck and rubber stamp General of Chief of Defense staff.

Blaming the woes of Nigeria on a single tribe predominantly in the SW and scattered across some parts of the SS and the MB shows that the writer had a shallow mind and lacks a good grasp of the realities of the past (history)and the present. I will not be entirely surprised if the writer is of Igbotic extraction. That is their trade mark. Blame everybody else while they remain saints.
Democracy in Nigeria did not start with GEJ. It preceeds his maladministration. Infact, it started with the likes of Zik, Awolowo and others that I eill not bother to mention.
