Another clutch moment from Rodri. An injury-time winner today to add to that game-saving block at Anfield against Liverpool and not forgetting a potential goal of the season vs Everton. That man has been the best DM in the PL this season by a mile. It might have taken him a while to adapt but now that he's got going, some of y'all might need to start tendering your apologies grin A proper holding midfielder that sets his team playing on the front foot whilst not neglecting his defensive duties, unlike that fake Brazilian penalty merchant masquerading as a controller. I no mention anybody name oh grin

You are making an emotional argument. They don't randomly call a ref back. They call a ref back when the decision he has made on the field compared to what they have seen in reviews is clearly erroneous. The ref felt the Odegaard issue was not a penalty. Then VAR reviewed it and saw that even though Ederson made contact with the player, he also got the ball. They only call the ref back if his decision was a CLEAR and OBVIOUS error. In this case, it was not. Next.
Why was the clip not shown
They have always show every var decisions

Sterling was signed for a similar amount with Martial and was rated as high

Rashford is an academy player like Foden too

Is Shaw heavier than Mendy?

Lindelof was rated higher than Dias before he left Portugal

Shaw heavier than Zinchenko and Ake. He struggles in tracking back.

Lindelof is a well packaged scam, compared to Dias that we all saw before joining City. In fact while Lindelof went for 30m, Dias gulped 60m.

Sterling 50m and Martial's 36m, not similar.

So, rest and answer my question below:

Name a coach not named Fraudiola, in the history of club football that spent over 1bn on players in 4yrs with no Ucl to show for it?

Mancity are just unstoppable. Bulldozing their way through the league.

What Guardiola has done to his team is what we thought was unthinkable.
We like to say the EPL is the best league in the world because of how competitive it is, that teams like Madrid, Barca, Bayern, juve would struggle in the EPL because the midtable teams here are stronger than their counterpart in other leagues.

That having to face teams like arsenal, Tottenham, Everton, westham, wolves every week would mean you MUST drop points. But every season, Guardiola makes his team go on long winning runs, beating the best there is. Playing in every final of every competition.

For the sake of banters, people might continue to say he's a fraud or whatever, but if you're true to yourself, you would see that this man is a master tactician. He builds a system that enables his players to thrive and grow into a unit that bulldozes any opponent they meet.
Guardiola IS the best coach in the world. He has earned my respect.

Welcome to the club grin. How come it took you so late to see this fact when some of us had already seen the light since his first el-classico in 2009?

When they start showing it on TV, just know they have already told the referee in his ear to come back to look at it.

There is huge difference.

U might go for a hunger strike after acquiring what u need for the name and fame and Davido would easily get a Ferrari in dsame year.

There was this ball he won from Saka I think and spinned immediately and released Jesus who passed to KDB who was offside and didn’t go for the ball, it was just brilliant to watch. If I knew how to make GIF’s I’ll bring that here

We don spend as much as Pep since he got to City and we have nothing to show.

Apples and oranges.

Imagine Klopp won the league last season. And to reinforce his team for the new season he spent more than his competitors- because he was bestowed with so much cash.

That’s what it means to bring a gun to a knife fight.

City has been spending big bucks before Pep came. We all saw what happened in his first season- he barely made top 4.

And that’s despite the fact that the team he met got to the semis of the last UCL.

After then he’s been like the 1st-3rd biggest spender almost every new season.

Man Utd were spending money because they needed to build a team. City already had a team - courtesy of the spending- and they even won the league sef. Yet Pep’s spending is still competing with those building a team.

Pep is a good coach, no doubt. But if his access to cash was limited like Liverpool’s he’d be worse than Klopp.

City wants to build dominance, win and keep winning till eternity. The difference between them and other teams that have the same desire is that they have a bottomless pocket of money.

That’s the only reason Pep is ahead of his peers, nothing else.

VAR checked it and did not see any clear and obvious error to overturn the onfield decision. That is because Ederson got some of the player but all of the ball. Do you agree?

Getting "some" of the player is now allowed, right?
Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Champions Of Europe 2021 by Leyqute(m): 4:44pm On Jan 01, 2022
It’s easy to say Man Utd spent than City in last 5 weeks, 3 days blablabla.

But then you forgot to take into consideration the team Pep met on ground and the humongous amount of money he spent on that team 3 years he got there to get the robust squad that he has now.

And he’s still even competing with other teams who are just building their teams now.

Selective blindness.

It's just like yesterday I made this post.
I now sound so stupid in having this monologue. Shame we failed again cry cry

donjazet:
Yesterday's result kinda increased my confidence of us winning the league. I know it's just Norwich and I'm trying to be cautiously optimistic considering that we've also started the last 4 seasons very well too only to be shambolic and lose our heads from late November period to mid January.

But this time feels very different. I've fallen in complete love with tuchel. I've never been a fan of players since I started watching football rather I've been a fan of coaches which is why I'm always heartbroken when they're sacked.
But it has to be said that tuchel is proving to be the best coach we've ever had in the modern era.
What marks tuchel out is his ability to both develop players while being tactically innovative. He sets up a structure that makes it easy for players to adapt to while playing to their strength.

Before the season started, who could have thought that players like malanga sarr, chalobah, loftus cheek, Barkley and Alonso would play an impactful role in our season?? These were all light or dead weights waiting to be shipped out and here we are early into the season and every single squad member has been utilized to satisfactory degrees. Every single player satisfied knowing that he will be given their chance to prove themselves.

Our squad depth is now unparalleled due to this effective man management. Every single player comes in and immediately slots in comfortably.

I see us winning big things. I'm cautiously optimistic but this time does feel very different. One can feel something special cooking at Stamford bridge. We have played almost all the top teams and still top the table, let's see if we can build a healthy lead at the top before end of January. I trust tuchel to take us past our festive fixture curse. I can't wait for us to win the club world cup too.

Long may this happiness last. Let's make our rivals drool and be high on jealousy.

Chelsea would fire fraudiola if he has 2 minute rough patch, Mancity wouldn't. That's the difference.

First season of Guardiola at city, if it was Chelsea, he wouldn't complete it.

We have had many Guardiola's pass through the club but because Chelsea fans and owners are not patient with them, they got fired.

Small rough patch, they are already calling for tuchels head.

By the way, I wouldn't kill to have Guardiola. Infact I won't pray for it let alone kill. So speak for yourself.

It super impossible for pep Guardiola to have a rough path at Chelsea. No fans or club owner would call for a manager who can give you beautiful football even when the results aren't coming forth. At worst it is players players that would be getting sold while new ones come in because with pep's pattern you will notice any player who isn't good enough.

He spent over 1bn on the type of players that would execute his tactics.

It does not mean the penalty is stonewall. Or else, Thomas Partey grabs and throws Gabriel Jesus to the ground in the corner kick late in the first half. That is a penalty too right?

Even if it is that Kamara of Marseille, we should get him. He can't be more than 30m.

Arsenal almost ran away with a point from that match and Partey was immense.

Martinelli's miss later haunted them.

Kamara is on free transfer this summer. I no sure about Kamara, he's young to carry and a bit on slow side. Dennis Zakaria is also on a free transfer

You are speaking from hindsight.

If Chelsea had hired pep instead of Mourinho, that period before he went to Bayern and he hit a rough patch like tuchel now, we would most likely have fired him. Chelsea fans don't waste time in turning on their managers.
