All these are stories
VAR will give some and leave others
Those stupid refs decide which one is legit or not
I am not defending EPL refs. Just telling you what I have observed over time. Today it favored City but it is not always the case. Rather than be angry with the ref why not blame Gabriel and Martinelli?

He made the team of the year with both juve and inter

Rodri was wanted by Barca and was a mainstay at a top team. The entire Europe was after Gabriel Brazil next best thing. Guardiola didn't sign nobodies and turn them into Kaka.
I never liked Rodri at athletico to be honest. Maybe it was just me but he never really impressed me.

Jesus was rated quite alright but I'm not sure any top team in Europe would have draft him straight into the first team like the way pep did when he was ousting aguero. Even till now, I wouldn't want him as my striker. I don't know about you sha

Forget all those Rodri was rated bla bla. Rodri was not more rated than Jorginho or Fred. Rodri was even plan C option after City could not get their plan A which was Jorginho and plan B which was FDJ.

How much was Cancelo bought for

Cancelo that Nateevs has been hyping since 2016 at Valencia. If he was that bad, why was he sold for £60m making him the most expensive fullback ever?

Maybe you caught him on a bad day at Juve.
Okayy, maybe I did. I watched him on three different occasions and I know I wasn't impressed with his game. He was just there not spectacular for me

Raumdeuter, what do you think of Akpoguma?

Do Super Eagles have a better centre-back, and why was he overlooked?

Exactly. Rodri was less rated than jorginho sef. All these things people are saying in hindsight cos he's now exceeded expectations grin

Same Cancelo that made the seria A team of the year while we juve grin
The few matches I watched him, he wasn't spectacular for me. I wouldn't say I followed juve but he didn't catch my eyes to be honest

Cancelo was not even that great in his first season with Manchester City. I wonder why people just want to downplay City. Gundogan and Bernardo Silva cost less than Oxlade and Naby Keita but people let Klopp off on those 2 and keep bringing up the former 2 for City as if City bought them for 200M.

You are a mathematician. I won't do netspend with you because it is a disingenuous factor. I agree that revenue generation na wash but baba na wash for everybody including Bayern Munich. Did you see how Adidas gave them 900M euros yet the Adidas CEO is also a member of the Bayern board etc etc. Even Juventus, have they not recently caught them with the shenanigans involving their finances? Me and you know if we shake United, a lot of fake revenue will show up. Just like Barcelona and Real Madrid.

Nothing like that. Adidas is a publicly listed company with profit motive for shareholders,.same.with Manure sponsors. Etihad is owned by Sheikh with no fücks given about running it as a profit-driven business.

It does not mean the penalty is stonewall. Or else, Thomas Partey grabs and throws Gabriel Jesus to the ground in the corner kick late in the first half. That is a penalty too right?
Don't lie, he removed his arms just before he fell...The commentators made a point of that too(Him removing his arms)..

FSG with owners worth totalling 100 billion dollars. Glazers with their billionaires. Chelsea with their billionaire but Manchester City have owners with a bottomless pocket (worth 30 billion dollars).

Where are you getting the 100billion dollar valuation for Fenway Sports Group....Any reliable source to back this assertion

You know most of you don't research stuff before typing. No, it is not a joke.
Nigga I was mocking your thickness. City and Chelsea are not self sufficient in any way or form. When their owners leave with their injection of revenue, inflected sponsorships deals and finance both teams will crumble badly. Don't even compare City and Chelsea owners to United and Liverpool owners.

Those are your opinions. That fact is Rodri was a mainstay at a top club and had many suitors including Barcelona. He was not a nobody that Pep turned to into something else. Gabriel Jesus was Brazil next big thing at that time as well and had many suitors in Europe gunning for his signature. The picture you are trying to paint won't fly.

Many players at mainstay in top team yet they still have limitations e.g Fred, jorginho, xhaka. No be same Fred wey guardiola court yet presently most man u fans won't fret if he's sold?

They're so many top talents that's heralded as next big team yet when they move to big clubs nobody will hear about them again. They abound well and there are examples.

My point is guardiola did well by turning them from good players to even better players. Heck, partey was more rated in athletico than this same Rodri if I'm not mistaken

You have changed the conversation. You have digressed from trying to paint those players as nobodies to accepting they where quality players before going to City. That's the bare minimum for each and every coach. Create a system that improves and fine-tunes your players abilities to make them better. I am sure Moyes, Arteta, and even Potter at Brighton have done that at their various teams. It's easier to do with 50million plus talented players tho.

So pep turned Gundogan and Silver to world-beaters right, Gundogan had injury issues from Dortmund which overlapped into his early City days but thankfully, he's alright now (Side question, who brought him to Dortmund, Gundogan that is) , as for Silva, wasn't this guy making headlines alongside other future stars in Monaco....The less said about Cancelo in the Seria A the better, imagine saying a player who made Seria A team of the season was unimpressive... Why not talk about Robbo who got relegated with Hull and bought for less than 10 Mill being regarded as one of the best LB's in Europe..
Keita has been in a hospital more than he's been fit for Liverpool, players hardly get consistency with his injury history but that not withstanding, dude has shown his ability in the matches he's been able to play...Case in point, against man United earlier...
You would testify 2017/18 was one of Chambo's best football seasons with mad performances against both big and small teams before a nasty injury that ruled him out for the season and half of the next..Since then, he's struggled to get rhythm because of incessant injury reoccurrences....
It's a testament to the fact that Pep can spend so much and his major competitor can't when you consider that the only major midfield signing Klopp has made since is a 30 year old Thiago who's plagued with injuries (exceptional player though)..You know why, he sold for less than 25 milli to be spread out over 4 yrs...
Why don't we talk about Klopp turning Hendo who people said wasn't talented enough to be a player or challenging with Grandpa Milner while not forget Gini who's having troubles at PSG despite being one of our better midfield generals...

You guys can praise Pep all you want, but don't be disingenuous or make unfair comparisons with Klopp....
I have a question for you, if Arteta wins the league with Arsenal 2-3 years from now, would you consider it a better achievement than Pep's maiden league title with City?

It doesn't work that way. People can also ask you to pick between Ranieri Leicester title and klopp titles at Liverpool which was the better achievement?
