EZEIGBO GHANA, HRM DR. IHENETU TASKS FEDERAL GOVERNMENT ON SECURITY AND IGBO PRESIDENCY IN HIS NEW YEAR MESSAGE.



As people all over the world today January 1st, celebrates the New Year, the Eze Ndigbo Ghana and Assistant Publicity Secretary Association of Ndieze Ndigbo in the Diaspora, His Royal Majesty, Dr Chukwudi Ihenetu has joined other eminent Nigerians to urge the Federal Government to address the problem of insecurity squarely.



In a special New Year message, signed from his Obieziokwu palace,Ghana and made available to the media, HRM Dr Ihenetu said problem of insecurity was affecting Nigerians in the Diaspora negatively. ” This year many Nigerians couldn’t make it home because of insecurity. This amount to great economic loss for the nation. When people out there, read about killings in Nigeria, it scares potential investors away from the country,” he said.



On 2023 election, HRM Dr. Ihenetu, a peace ambassador whose intervention in trade dispute between Nigerian traders and Ghana Trade Union help resolved aged-long conflicts, call on the political class to ensure that Igbo from South East emerge as president of Nigeria. “For the sake of equity and justice, if Igbo man become president, issue of agitations would have subsided.


“Since the inception of this new political dispensation, The South West had their slot when former President Olusegun Obasanjo ruled for 8 year. This was followed by the North which produced, Late Musa Yar’Adua, then GoodLuck Jonathan for the South South and now President Muhamadu Buhari is rounding off his second term. Automatically, 2023 should be turn of Igbo to also occupy Aso Rock”


While calling attention of all arms of government to the high rate of poverty and hunger in Nigeria, HRM Dr. Ihenetu call on policymakers to employ technology in wealth creation.



” in order to boost trade and commerce, Bank of Industries (BOI) should make loan available for small and medium entrepreneur. this measure will enable traders access fund to drive their business.``

The Royal Father said if this measures are taken, Nigerians could smile again.
