Although, i have never visited Eket, but politics have become a life line for Eket people in recent days .For an example, since the return of democracy in 1999, Eket people have stoked fears and traffic hate across entire Akwa Ibom for one reason: to produce governor of Akwa Ibom State. They are generally intolerance. They are very tribal.

So, i would not be surprised if the killing of Mr. Otu Inyang is political motivated.
