SmartPolician:
You cannot continue to hold a man against his will and expect him to be happy. Nigeria is not working. This joke has been on for the past 60 years and I don't understand why Nigerians have problem with disintegrating this cesspit so the ethnic groups can better manage their people.

Truth is, many Igbos are angry we are still in Nigeria. If you try to leave the contraption, they will deploy the military and destroy your people and region.
I understand you correctly. The anger the average Igbo man has for the country is very visible in their relations with it. Is it justified? Probably..

I'm from the South South, Delta state precisely. Where I'm from we have oil, but do we get even a good enough return for what we give to the center? Obviously not.. Add to that environmental degradation from exploration. Sources of livelihood cut short with nothing whatsoever to ameliorate the poor living conditions of the people, the very owners of the treasure which is the nation's primary source of wealth.. Are we marginalized? Yes we are.. Are we angry? Of course we are, no one would be happy. Do we want things to change for the better? Yes..

The way to go isn't cursing at others, displaying hatred and stuff. If you ask me even I'm of the opinion the country Should disintegrate. But the elites want otherwise, even the elites in your region who benefit greatly from the country remaining one, they don't want to even hear it.

I like the fact that you guys are determined and you keep pressing for what you want. But the approach is crude to a large extent. By and large, if we had a good leader who didn't see some people as 5%, who didn't exhalt his tribe, region and religion above everyone else, who gave every Nigerian a sense of belonging and self worth, i believe the clamour wouldn't be this loud. It would have been just a few dissenting voices, very few.

Since we can't get that which we want now let's try to get a good leader, a detribalized one who'll Try to unite us. Very important.

You are not so smart aren't you?

The whole concept of the separation of Church and State is way out of this world for primitive minds like yours... and your Islamic religion will never evolve to even grasp that concept.

When you're already living large at such a tender age of 24 and your source of wealth seems to be shrouded in secrecy, this is usually the end result ! I do not imply that people can't be successful at a very young age but if the insane desire for sudden wealth in that part of the country is anything to be considered, then we can guess what is responsible for this !

Well said bro. Well said. The fast chase for money by all means without thinking about the ramifications has led so many foolish people to their early deaths.
