The research which was carried out by my team in South West Nigeria revealed that skull mining by the indigenous inhabitants has been in existence in the past 18th cent... The yorubas mostly grind those human skulls into powder form and then proceed to make concotion for sick individuals with the belief that it will heal the sick persons.. Another solid reason is that those who sell fast food,have been made to believe that certain rituals that involves the use of human skulls will enhance their business as well as draw alot of customers to them.
