Nigeria filmmaker react as Netflix offers 90k dollars for nollywood Nd 500million dollar to Asian and European movies.

If nollywood want to gain international recognition they should start acting movie based on reality, movie with suspense, triller,mystery,murder and mind blowing movies like prison break, money heist, elite, sense8,sex education, blood and water. Etc

No one want to see their Asaba nollywood crap or ritual movie! They should start including lgbt people in their movie if they want Netflix to pay them 500m! Lgbt boast the rating of movies. They should include at least one white person, same way Hollywood always present black people in their movie. Else they won’t gain international recognition and only Nigeria will watch their movies.

There is no way you won’t watch Netflix movie and say one lgbt character or black character it called inclusiveness. (no one should be left behind). Be it America, Spanish, Asian, Mexico Nd the rest. Even South Africa is competing with them.

yeah on quality ... you are right ... but most of the Nigeria movies on Netflix are the top quality 1%

but again the big question to ask is what are the numbers of those movies in terms of the viewership.

If Nigeria start including some people in their movie they will gain recognition from international organizations.. the view ship will be high. Let say they act movie and include at least one lgbt character and a white person, that movie will blown on Netflix
