seyicodes:No they can't because the United States is a secular state meaning it is officially neutral in matters concerning religion. Nigeria is supposed to be a secular state but clearly it is not. Depends on the laws and constitution of the US 1.The US could adopt Sharia if they passed the constitutional amendment allowing it. That's a long process which isn't guaranteed success. 2.Even then the principle of.separation of church and state won't allow such an amendment |
