I know you knows the truth. If you are in the north , you will hear those Muslims complaining why Friday is not a work free day. If you go to states like Sokoto, on Fridays after mosque, the markets or offices is half closed. The equation can be balanced no problem, but religion should not be championed by the government.

This move will retard education in Kaduna state as well as any other state that will adopt it.

The school curriculum (primary and secondary) are usually not thoroughly covered even in the five working days of the week, now to reduce working/schooling days to 4days will not do magic that 5days couldn't do.

Is this how Nigerian education will compete with those of developed countries?

This move may have stemmed from the agitation that Friday be made work-free day just like Sunday...
