Too early to tell. our team was average while the Egyptians were very poor

Every team has been average in this bang-average tournament...

Super Eagles happen to be obviously slightly less average than the others. This is quite clear.

Well, I agree... It's still too early.

Nigeria really played well today. Salah was completely caged. Another thing I saw in Salah game was that he didn't play in his convenient position. If he had operated from the right wing like he does for Liverpool maybe he would have performed better. The center forward position he played today was nothing to write home about. The Nigerian Super Eagles gave him and his teammates a really tough time.

The only team I've seen in this AFCON so far that can disturb Nigeria is Morocco.

Since 2010-2012,Egypt has been average after their famous team led by Ahmed hassan retired.I remember that team defeated nigeria 3 1

What is with African games with 1-0 games, even NPL self always 1, 1 goal games. We hardly see over 2.5

Technically most players are amateur at best. This match was easily the best so far, and yet we missed so many chances.. could easily be 4-0

shocked

Though Ejuke was selfish towards the end of the match, but niggar was so fast, faster than Usain Boltshocked

Salah, is nothing in football without Liverpool, i didn't even see the guy In field. More reason Messi and Ronaldo are the biggest player of this century..both shines anywhere they're.

In all in all, the super eagles performance was so impressive. Congratulations Nigerians.

No player is better than the team. Untill recently, where was Messi in Argentina? If the players around you are good, you will shine easily. If they are not, your shine go quench. Just see Salah today

Best Super Eagles game in a long long while. We went all out for a win and will happily take the 1-0, could have been more so not sure what everyone is complaining about.

Moses Simon - quite refreshing to see a classic winger play. Those touch line moves reminds me of them Finidi George days. Boy is probably just lacking the final ball.

Someone should tell Ejuke to pass the freaking ball abi na wetin?

All in all, a very good day at the office.

If NFF know what is good for them, they should keep Austin Eguvohen as coach. We don't need any useless foreign coach to come and destabilize the team and the Super Eagles will start playing like headless chickens.
They know but greed and selfishness will not allow they because of the quotes they collect from oyibo man salary
