I wonder! Yes, the man acted rather unprofessionally, but the penalty award to Tunisia and the red card given to a Malian can not justify the bias allegation. If the game was played till 98th minute, Tunisia may still not have equalized. It was even stated that an attempt for the 4th ref to take over was made, but was rejected by one of the teams. This defense holds no water because the teams have no say in that at all. Except they want to tell us that a team has the power to refuse an award of a goal, penalty or free kick in a match

The referee's behaving as at when he stopped the match shows he wasn't feeling okay, he had the struggling to do things attitude as at then.

Tunisia had a penalty and wasted it, he sent a Malian off and even VAR called him to take a second look because it was a soft red card, but he insisted, 20 minutes after, the Malians came out to restart the match but Tunisians refused to so what exactly is the Carthage Eagles grouse?

Do they want the match restarted from 1minutes while maintaining their one man advantage?

I really wished the referee was composed enough that day till the 90th minute on the dot, even with one second of extra time, we won't have been saying all this.
