It's hard to make a comment on nairaland without getting insults even if it's just for a simple correction. So many people ignore, why some get to reach their limits and can't ignore anymore but just have to join the free for all insult spree. Women I know are very reserved, but here on nairaland they are so abusive and loud mouthed that sometime I wonder if it's truly a woman or a man behind the account. So I have come to ask this question, does nairaland recently make people become abusive? |

Yes bro. It's a common behavior on faceless forums. People are always expected to be well-mannered and disciplined. It's boring. A faceless forum is proper medium to let out all the pent up emotions without the consequences of being perceived as unclout. That is the major reason why you see a clear cultural divide between Igbos, Hausas and Yorubas here which you don't see in reality. It is also the reason you here stupid shits like Afonja, Yammiri and Aboki etc here Its the reason I don't reply any quotes or mentions here. It's a useless effort and I understand human nature to an extent so I take nothing personal here. |
