One thing I don't agree with the movie tho:
Russia and China are perfectly capable of launching missiles into space shooting down spatial debris and the likes. One space launch station being destroyed means nothing as there are several similar stations littered across the Republic, both publicly known and secret silos. Same as EU (France & Germany).

It's funny how the two countries with the most advanced missile technology (Russia & China) are solely dependent on a US program. A country they're far ahead of in terms of ICBMs.
