Due to a combination of technology and human efforts, the persistent congestion and seemingly intractable gridlock along access routes to TinCan Island and Apapa ports is gradually disappearing, reports Associate Editor ADEKUNLE YUSUF Recently, Mallam Danlami Audu, 62, was so pleasantly surprised that he could not hide his feelings. An investment mogul with extensive networks in international haulage business, Audu was a bundle of joy when he visited Lagos on a business inspection trip last December. He said it was a great relief that the protracted Apapa gridlock, which has defied all solutions for more than a decade, has fairly disappeared.https://thenationonlineng.net/revelry-as-sanity-gradually-returns-to-lagos-ports/

Odin13:If Yoruba matters no kill you, make I know why Just look at yourself, so obsessed with Yoruba, their is no post you will make on Nairaland, that you won't mention either Yoruba or Tinubu. Life must be treating you terribly, but Yorubas are not responsible for your failure thou! You are directing your frustrations to the wrong people. |

The lasting solution to the Lagos port is to decongest it. Anything outside that is just mere palliative. |

Lagos is congested, overpopulated and filled with drug addicts and thugs. There are ports in Delta, Edo, Akwa Ibom and Cross Rivers, but Buhari and his crew will never develop them because they know it would be the gateway to break free from this cursed union called Nigeria. However, he doesn't mind building a railway to Niger Republic so he can import more of his likes into the country. I have never seen a leader so useless and selfish at the same time. Every day they throw crumbs of development news so that people like that MANAVULTUREGRILLER will see something to praise his dementia suffering darling daddy for... meanwhile majority of roads and infrastructure in the south is in shambles no thanks to political leaders like Tinubu and the other useless southern governors who would rather steal and loot public resources senselessly than develop the infrastructure in their states and demand for an exit from this cursed union where monkey dey work and baboon dey chop. Go and see roads in Borno, Kano, Kadunna, Kastina, Nassarawa, Kebbi and other northern states. You'll think that they're the ones producing the crude oil feeding this nation when all they produce is an army of uneducated and terror prone children they don't care for and use as political weapons after feeding them religious vitamins and minerals. Buhari is a curse and you are cursed if you're supporting Tinubu after witnessing the suffering majority are undergoing under his friend, the dementia suffering octogenarian in aso rock. |

Great news.. I hope NRC regularly evacuate cargoes from the port.. Once Lekki port comes alive, the railway modernization between Lagos and ibadan , lekki epe express way ,apapa oworonshoki express way and finally Ibadan dry port comes alive... Lagos major problem is solved 100%...and this will be reality in less than a 5 years from now You just have to give it to this administration.. They really tried in infrastructure especially in Lagos |
