The two are not mutually exclusive. If you're going to suspend all progressive development until Nigeria has optimal power supply, you're possibly never going to move forward. And if you don't embrace futuristic developments you may never be incentivised to invest in that optimal electricity supply that the futuristic developments may require . in addition, you may never stumble upon systems that may indirectly enable that electricity supply .

Who would buy an electric car when you hardly have light to charge your phone? You know it yourself that your premise is totally wrong. Have you seen a factory that manufactures its products first before acquiring and installing the robots/ equipment to produce the products? Infrastructure first before development, not the other way round. When you buy a car that you dont have the electricity to power it, is that not a waste? Just last December a Tesla stopped on 3rd mainland bridge in Lagos probably because it was not optimally charged.
Truth is Nigeria is not ripe for certain technology when we have not got the basics right.

So, if you had the influence, you would advice Nigeria to close her markets to electric motorcycles and busses manufactured by the Kenyans or and other African manufacturers until Nigeria is as developed as Kenya ?

I would not need to advise Nigeria to close her markets against electric cars and bikes, the market will shut itself down when it does not get patronage from the people.
