A friend of mine in the banking sector said the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN ) has began the process of removing all N5 and N10 notes from circulation as they are almost totally useless. Can anyone confirm if this is true?

They should mint coins to replace them. I never liked those polymer notes. |

May be just a speculation. Both N5 and N10 have not really been on circulation for quite some time as they are worthless |

It's true. Those who work in cbn are out of touch with rural dwellers. These ones still need N5 and N10 notes in circulation. |

I won't be surprised. This CBN is a CRIMINAL. They don't value NAIRA. Their Currency is Forex. They're protecting Dollars instead of Naira. |
