I Am An Igbo Man; I Have No Problem With Asiwaju. But... by JaroMan(op): 11:38am On Jan 23, 2022
This rider has become imperative because a lot of Tinubu supporters have this notion that Igbos hate Tinubu. Hell No!!! I for one don't hate him. Joe Igbokwe don't hate him, Dr Akabueze don't hate him. And I'm sure that a good number of Igbos don't hate him.
Ahmed Tinubu is bigger than me in all ramifications. Yes.
He is an institution based on how disciplined he has been that made him be a reference point in 2023 politics.
He was intentional and patient.
He is dogged and meticulous.
He is consistent and focus. These qualities marked him out.
But, does Tinubu supporters expect him to be all loved? It is water that doesn't have enemy:
But I dislike rainy season.
Why it appears Igbos don't like Tinubu has to do with how Igbos see someone who wants to Lord over all.
Tinubu was senator
Tinubu was governor
Tinubu wife is senator
Tinubu 'mother' was Iya Oloja
Tinubu daughter is Iya Oloja
Tinubu son has a state in LASG
Tinubu cousin is Osun governor
To many business interests
This is what Igbos detest.
But do I have problems with it? God forbid!
How can I cry more than the bereaved?
Since majority of Lagosians nay Yorubas are at ease with him, who am I?
Has it benefited Yorubas? Yes, in great measure.
If Yorubas have left Lagos in the hands of real Lagosians, the rest of the SW would've suffered worst.
The turn by turn sharing of governance of Lagos between 5 SW states, without owners of Lagos is where Yorubas hit the bullseye and Tinubu is the protagonist.
So why won't Yorubas be happy?
But... I am a Nigerian and want the best for Nigeria.
Imagine how happy Nigerians are because Super Eagles are doing well. You see how we praise the coach, because according to many, he got his selection right.
This simply means that if we get the right man in govt, Nigerians will be happy.
Is Tinubu the right man? Emphatically No.
Reason: he doesn't have that background of a good leader- everything about him is questionable.
This is same problem Nigeria faced with Buhari, but people waved it aside. Today what is happening?
A president that could not be careful enough to straighten his paper qualifications cannot do the simplest thing as a president. So he doesn't have files?
No one has come out to defend Tinubu on salient grey areas of his journey in life. Are we waiting when he will enter, so that one old man from Ijesha will appear in court with one dusty paper to prove us he knows Tinubu more than us?
That is where I have issues with him. His ambition is Germaine and he is the only Southerner that will be in Aso Rock, and the north will mind their business.

y is it that it is u igbos that are crying more than d bereaved?

If u put half of this effort into making your region better I am sure by now we won't have ikpeazu n co n also soldiers using your able bodied men for shooting practice.

But as a typical igbo boy we are not surprised, they don't care if their house is burning, they prefer to chase rat in another man's house.

That was what nnamdi azikwe did that boomerang for u igbos,it's now surprising that his children never learn from history.

They are repeating their forefathers mistakes n expecting a different result

I understand your fears.
I will prefer you channel such energy in promoting your candidate, I am not Yoruba, neither am I campaigning for tinubu. But know this and know peace, this bring down syndrome is the main reason people don't like your tribe.

I don't know why Tinubu is your concern. Owelle, OUK, Umahi, Peter and few others are people you should be promoting.

THE OP is not an IGBO man...these are Yoruba urchins that create threads to place a narrative in cyberspace.

I personally dont like Tinubu let alone osibanjo...and i owe nobody an apology. .....but let me state in clear terms Tinubu is not even a factor in the permutations for 2023.

Also...i know that Osibanjo Miscreants are using IGBO monikers to insult Tinubu so as to prop osibanjo a "criminal Pastor" as an alternative.

Both useless candidates will Fail...

@op grow up.
