Lagos, Kano are not cities

Why are they not cities?

BTW, New York City is bigger than Lagos and Kano combined and it is still a city!

There are more wealthy Anambra people living in Anambra unlike Delta people that mostly live in Abuja and Lagos. Asaba is a suburb of Onitsha

Oghene1st:

Hahaha.

Even the wealthy Anambrarians don't even stay in the Onitsha or Anambra entirely. They are either in Abuja, Lagos, Port Harcourt or Asaba.

Where E-Money, Obi Cubana, Jowi Zazaa, Peter Obi, Ifeanyi Ubah, Andy Uba, Valentine, Coshcharis, Maduka, etc dey stay?

If not for tradition, una Obi of Onitsha for don leave Onitsha.

Wetin dey for Asaba. Sometime, you guy just like saying rubbish . Onitsha has one of the biggest market in the whole of West Africa. The money that market generate per month is more than the federal allocation of the state where Asaba is found.

If Asaba is not part of Delta, they would have been like Nsukka in Enugu. Even the Asaba, na money from Warri them take dey grow am. So chill.

Do you know the current liabilities of US and her budget? If you nor get better credit rating, there is no way you can borrow. If Delta and Anambra enter US to borrow money, them go attend to Delta before Anambra. You know why? Because Delta get the potentials to pay than Anambra. You don see where bank dey borrow poor man money?

Omo, EOD! grin

ONITSHA.

This is from your port statistics,
“Onitsha port will serve the South East Nigeria; in fact, Onitsha port will be the most viable port as over 60 per cent of cargo in Nigeria goes to Onitsha, so it is going to be a very busy port,” Ibrahim said.

Genuine money will be visible in the biggest market in black Africa which Onitsha hosts, now what exactly do Warri offer apart from Yahoo boys and Italy prostitutes returnees?

What is in Asaba. A civil servants city.
Asaba prosperity is solely dependent on the success of Onitsha. Collective Individuals efforts makes city rich not government. Government efforts is a palliative for the collective individual effort to thrive & Onitsha has cut it's teeth in that regards.

@basilo101, if it's not a city ,then it's what? It's just a matter of semantics. A city is àny large settlement bigger than a town.
You guys are too narrow-minded, oft denying the dynamism of lexis. When you're told to consult your dictionary regularly ,u don't pay attention. Would u also deny or water down the city of London, New York City etc?

Guys, I was reading a book; The Richest Man in Babylon. At a point Babylon was referenced as the richest city in the world.

While meditating on what I read, I asked myself the question, which is the richest city in Nigeria?

a. Abuja
b. Lagos
c. Kano
d. Port Harcourt

Kindly give you candid answers with the reason why you chose the city you will choose.

Your kind opinion will be helpful in drawing my strategies for this year.

You don't know what is called metropolis, inside Lagos, we have Lagos itself, there are so many cities in Lagos. Let me educate you, places like Ikeja, Lagos Island, Oshodi and lots more are all cities, forget the fact that Ikeja is the capital of Lagos.
Let me elucidate further, Kano as a capital of Kano has different cities, these are called metropolis, we have Nassarawa, Turani, Sabon Gari, Gwale etc. These are well developed places that we call cities, they different from villages. Infact in the case of Lagos state, I doubt if there are villages, cos most places are well developed and commercialized...I hope you not confused anymore kiss
