This case is in the same old long drawn criminal case league with the Chief FFK versus EFCC. It's completely unacceptable to have these cases taking this long. We still need to perfect the Administration of Criminal Justice Act. We really need to and we need the legislature, judiciary and the Executive to look at the law again so it can address the lapses that still militate against having speedy administration of justice especially those criminal cases involving Politically Exposed Persons like the crime suspects HE Lamido and sons. . |

Jostoman:You have never followed his case that is why u said so. Sule Lamido's case started when he led 5 Northern PDP Governors out of PDP under GEJ. GEJ's Govt overlooked his immunity and started the case, the case was closed until after his tenure in 2015. The case has been going on slowly until when Bawa became EFCC Chairman and start his trial again by changing the judge proceeding the case. The case will continue tomorrow and he may soon k ow his fate! EFCC take care of corruption cases irrespective of the Govt or party in power. |
