Lol, you wan kill Hope? Even travelling through Nigeria, I've only seen this kind of roads twice... The BRT lane in Lagos, from Oshodi, and the express roads being constructed in Lagos by Dangote

I think I once saw a thread where the governor of Abia state did something like this when he just came into office.

Although I think they could go the way of RCC, dig into the ground, then start filling it with "big stones" before finally grading and tarring
i know that most of our roads follow the mumu system pictured but I'm becoming tired of seeing it. Enough is enough. A road that you only need to build once, every governor will come and build their own.

Why do village pathways last longer than allegedly tarred roads? lol. This means what we're building is even less advanced than a dirt path

This one is 500yrs life span. Can Hope see this thing, our Eastern governors want to save money to build substandard roads, at the end it won't last a month before collapsing. All the money spent doing those roads on each successive Administrations is enough to get us this standard gauged durable road.
Only Umahi had tried done this type of road i the whole SE.
When it comes to infrastructure, Dave Umahi is in competition with himself alone!

Despite having so little, he sets and beats his own standard.

Please, there is an "Imopoly" kwo? I've not seen anything about that school on this thread. Does it no more exist?

I want to state that one way Imo government can look towards the development of our higher institutions is to allow individuals come in. People, organizations like banks, companies, e.t.c, can build structures and have it named after them, while hostels can be a private-public investment, where people build STANDARD hostels inside the school and pay a particular amount per year to the school, like land use charge.

This way, government will concentrate more on making the environment look good and payment of salaries, while lecturers concentrate on upgrading themselves

Trust me, Dede, I saw some really good roads this last Xmas. Of particular mention is the Chukwuma Nwaoha road, if you knew that road before, you won't believe it's the same thing there now. The issue now is, how long it's gonna last.

Lol @village pathways lasting longer than allegedly tarred roads... Lol

I think sanile decay has caught up with u, so incoherent in the things he says. U just confirmed that even at ur age, that I am far more travelled and exposed than u are. For an old man of ur calibre to think saying one speaks yoruba is a way of ridiculing the person. I now see why ur reasoning capability is so low. So childish.

That snake was eke, (python specie). In Orlu, we don't kill it. It's usually harmless.
