What is the benefit of this to Nigerians since the evil party is still in power? This price increase will not stop the evil party from borrowing big money from foreign countries.
You hatred has makes you to even forget that you are part of people spending the money directly or indirectly.

I have supported subsidy removal for ten years now, and no, I am not a APC supporter or a PDP supporter, and you do me a disservice assuming I support either...

There are many good reasons why subsidy should go. For now, i'll leave you with one....would you let government set the price of the goods you sell to help the poor?

Yeah, and subsidy still has to go. We've lost too much money from it. We are about to lose another trillion naira.
See the truth remains that corrupt politicians have messed this country up.

Fixing our refineries and establishing new ones remain the way forward. This government made that promise and everyone accepted it. Today we remain where we are. Rather than do the needful the government places its hope on Dangote refinery and still keep us on the story of subsidy.

With the removal of subsidy government can focus on other things, but the political will is lacking. Nothing has changed in this country for the better in seven years of APC leadership; rather this country has been designated the poverty capital of the world with the level of hardship in the land.

Cheers.

Your perspective is based on the impact of subsidy application as it affects your personal business and life.

But in gross terms, many Nigerians cannot even afford one square meal right now. I mean this is like 30 to 40 percent of the population.

How do you expect them to live when price of PMS hits N350 and above. Also the inflationary effect as it affect general goods and services.

Look, it is not realistic right now. Survival and basic needs of citizenry first.

Let govt create or repair refineries. Let the cut of many excess leakages in the system (executive and legislature). Salaries and perquisites of those guys are unreal.

Stop pushing the burden on the masses always. If they tried it they would have been the end.

You are a clown,

Foundation of 2nd naija bridge was laid in 6years ?? Are u serious a whole 6 years for only foundation.
And by foundation I am guessing you mean the truck loads of sand deposited on site before contractor abandoned the project.
If you say 75% of rail was built I am assuming that u know that all the rail tracks should
have been already laid. But we all live in this Nigeria and can testify to when the rails were been laid and when chairman amechi was buying trains, so please make me understand what your 75% is.
Let me also remind you that under this Gej administration there was intervention funds disbursed to Nigerians but u might as well tell us the category of Nigerians receiving it.
Mr Jimoh Ibrahim is forever grateful he sends his Regards.
But now it's your brother in the village or the jobless one that receives npower.
Make una dey check this things well nah

In PDP days, such increase was greeted with hope because Excess Crude account will increase.

Under bubu, nothing like Excess crude again instead, allocation dey reduce even as oil prices rises.
Bubu = Failure

At the end we will not see any benefit.

Our government don’t really care about us, only how to save for their unborn generations.

Even we are not helping ourselves either, supporting bad and unqualified politicians simply because they are from our region.

We have thrown merit into the gutter.

1.Government is repairing two refineries, and six private refineries are coming up

2.The subsidy removal is to enable those refinereis make a profit so that they can pay for repairs , maintenance, upgrades, and even new refinereis without government needing to spend anything, and with government savings going elsewhere..and with more investment attracted to our oil industry.

3.And yes, subsidy removal will affect me badly, so I am not making this argument from a 'privileged' position so to speak. I am making this argument because Nigeria is losing billions of naira because of cheap fuel...to say nothing of jobs and more investment lost.

4.We can still have subsidy, if we fund it from taxes, not from oil revenue. But Nigerians don't pay enough in tax. We want oil money to serve the purpose taxes serve elsewhere...which is why we are in debt and have to keep taking loans.

For how long did PDP sell oil at $100 per barrel?

Did you factor in the subsidy payment in coefficient to the price which was why GEJ wanted to remove subsidy?

Una no just suppose dey talk for public
What do you mean by "how long" PDP sold oil for $100 per barrel? Have you asked how long OBJ sold oil for less than $18 per barrel?!
