Though I don't agree with Govt appointing Electoral officers but the system is so flawed that politicians can play all sort of games with it.

Prof. Yakubu Mahmud was renowned PDP member and served as TETDUND Executive Secretary and in different capacities under PDP but is appointed INEC National Chairman by PMB and nobody say a word!

We had INEC Chairmen and RECs who were die hard PDP supporters and rewarded with INEC positions who went to write elections results before commencement of elections.

Today, we have an electoral system that if Nigerians are serious results can't be tempered with irrespective of who is in charge!

When will you folks stop justifying Buhari's missteps. Every wrong step is justified using the past which most often ain't true

I know all of them personally. I know PMB all my life and I know Yakubu at NDA. He had strong affiliation to PDP that made him TETFUND ES. Almost all political appointments are politically motivated and must have party backings before u get it.
You ignorantly criticise but u don't want others to open up abt their fact.
Yakubu was appointed INEC head not because he is APC member but because somebody in APC wanted him to be!

Most appointments are done based on many factors which go beyond party membership. Soludo joined Buhari's economic team yet and APGA man. Is Suleman Bogoro of tetfund, Prof Rashid
of nuc etc card carrying members of APC?
Alot of those appointed into positions of authority ain't card carrying members of political parties.
