They can if they are smart and work for it. Android OS is dying. Eventually, Harmony OS will take it's place since they are already set up for Internet of things

I understand why you think so, but is unlikely. Harmony OS is based on Google's android OS, there is nothing huawei can do to it that Google can't replicate or improve upon.
There is also Google Play Services, which is lacking in H OS. I depend on it, and I don't see myself migrating to whatever alternative Huawei will offer. Besides, I don't believe Google will fold their arms and watch that happen.

@bolded, there was blackberry, symbian, Windows phone etc. Time will tell.
