That is nice bt for a mega refinery in Africa don’t u think we should get more that just that?? Shouldn’t it reflect on the economy in a more direct way??

This is not hate bt simple reasonable deduction and expectations.
It's already positively impacting the economy across the board even before large scale operation. As we speak, the paychecks from the over 40,000 people already employed is tons of money circulating through our economy, entering banks and leaving as business loans to create more jobs. The impact is unquantifiable, these are the things you can not see when you are already crippled with negative mental mindset, poor knowledge of economy and how it impacts your own pocket.

Allow your mind to expend and broaden your horizon..

The price you are paying today is unsustainable. Get that into your ignorant head.

It should be where your education begins. Go and educate yourself. Your ignorance is bad and worrying for Nigeria considering most "educated" Nigerians are like you.

People, like you, who think the government must feed you, provide homes for you, find you jobs and wipe your azzes are the problem.

You don't know how much of a kid, in terms of knowledge, you are thinking Nigeria can keep prices of crude at today's level for much longer.

What is most annoying is that you will rush to insult others ignorantly instead of defering to humility and trying to get more knowledge so as to be informed and productive critics of government.
clown, do you have car ?? Wetin concerns you with fuel huh Ur demigod the mannequin in aso Rock should kindly return Nigeria to that old bad days where he found it..

‘This is an overhype, speculations and not accurate almost like propaganda. There’s no effect felt by the economy yet hopefully when it starts we will know the true situation.

The question is; when Dangote refinery starts full operation will the price of fuel go back to what it was before Buhari regime?

Nigerians must concern itself with its citizens, and ensure only our interest and the interest of Nigeria matter. Nigeria must end this "big brother" mentality, as America, UK and all great nations are about the interest of their country and people. Nigeria first.

Dangote refinery is not coming to make petrol sell for less than N165 .
His cement in Nigeria is the most expensive in Africa.
Nothing to be excited about for Nigerians. Ghana is just fearful over nothing
It may not sell less than 200 naira a liter, but despite that it's a blessing for Nigeria

The government and people of Ghana are freaking out over the gigantic, world-class, game-changing Dangote Refinery roaring into life this year, and set to position Nigeria as the Number 1 industrial powerhouse of West Africa, and the foremost producer and exporter of refined crude oil, and the Number 1 manufacturer of petroleum products in Africa, set to supply the entire continent and beyond.

The Ghanaian minister from that country's Petroleum Commission, says his country is very jittery about how Nigeria will halt the growth of the fledgling Ghana oil industry, monopolising the entire African market, with the gigantic 15 billion dollar facility - the largest single train oil refinery in the world.

He called for special arrangements to be made to prevent the crowding out of smaller oil industries across the West African sub-region, to maintain regional competitiveness in industrial development.

The Dangote complex in Lagos also includes the largest fertilizer plant in Africa, as well as the largest urea manufacturing facility on Earth, further compounding the Ghanaian minister's problems.

Illiterate. It is folks like you ruining this Country. Totally damaged, unserviceable and non-repairable human resources.

They are telling you it is not fiscally possible for Government to keep subsidizing the cost of fuel, to keep you in cheap PMS, and you're still arguing like a drunken fool about going back to a past marker.

Why can't the world go back to pre-covid days then since a lot of people would love that? Mumu.

Dangote as an individual is an industrialist and the founder of the group. His vision drives the company.
correction bro, not his vision, the company vision is collective, dangote can not make a say without collective decision, people own share not dangote, the public own the largest share in dangote group of company. if other top shareholders member agree then it can be possible

Someone came up with that idea of Dangote oil and gas before making the offer public. He owns the vision, buying into that vision doesn't make you a visioner. Elon Musk did not need any shareholder's advise before Tesla.

And they told you all those savings by Nigeria will have impact on you personally? Or the vacancy you talked about will be given to you as a nobody?
National savings are important. If Nigeria has a bigger annual budget than the current 35 billion dollars per annum, it will impact positively on the lives of Nigerians. The real reason Nigeria is struggling is that the oil earnings are insufficient for its huge population, requiring continued diversification to increase govt revenue, and hence the national budget.

I can see you are very good in government.
You should know better that all your theories does not fit into the Nigerian situation.
Oil earning is not enough, they still borrow from all over the world to fund the budget.
Which budget?
To build rail track from Nigeria to Niger republic.
To boom the terrorism business by buying weapons for the military who will in turn hand it over to terrorist after claiming ambush
To finance election rigging
To share at party level, over bloated contract sum
To pay bogus salary of the legislature and special advisers
To pay subsidies that even the president once claimed was a scam.

Now tell me which one of the above has a positive impact on the masses you claim the government will be saving for?

What a load of rubbish. You have no idea what's going in that place. You have no idea what the price of fuel will be. And this is about more than the price of fuel.

Are you even aware there's a 2.5 billion dollar fertilizer plant there?

Do you know what it means for Nigeria in terms of savings, to stop importing refined petrol, become self-sufficient in petroleum products, and to turn net exporter of same?

Do you know the impact of that on ancillary local businesses and industries here?

Do you know the Dangote plant employs 40,000 Nigerians, from engineers to IT and security staff?

I just don't know how some of you guys reason.
You sound so correct but what's your take on the cement price he raised?

Yes I agree.
all I know in business is that, dangote vision won't come to light, if all shareholders says know to his vision.
beside dangote didn't bring up the vision of establishing the biggest refinery in Nigeria, shareholders did. dangote act as the forefront of the company, or should I say the chairman or CEO. Elon Musk need shareholders advice to carry out any decision in his company, Elon Musk has less than 9% share in his own company, he only act as the forefront, his visions in the 20th century won't come to light if the shareholders did not come into conclusion, Elon Musk has done critical presentation to backup his vision and present to the company. I believe you know owners of a company has 99.9% Chance's to be sack, if all shareholders agree.

I understand your views about stakeholder or shareholder interest. But there's no organisation without a leader/founder. The vision of the leader mostly (always) provide direction for the entire organisation. Leadership is even a course a discipline in the tertiary institutions and when you attend these programmes, you get to write case study reports about the visions and leadership styles of renowned leaders like Elon Musk (Tesla), Steve Jobs (Apple), Jack Ma (Ali Baba), Jeff Bezos (Amazon) even though some of them have retired.

There's a saying that when the founder of a successful company resigns, a company is more likely to wear off. Those who bought Twitter shares have been on a losing spree for a while now. When Jack Dorsey (the founder) announced his resignation, it got worse. Some investors pulled out due to sentiments.

With a good CEO, Dangote Group will continue to exist without Alhaji Dangote but his vision will not cease to drive the company.

This is an illiterate submission, and I don't deal with illiterates.

When your brain starts to work, go to your state and ask them how many billions of Naira the FG sends them by allocation each month to develop your state.

Useless, dumb people sank in negativity and hate. Oh sure, all the national budget goes on ''election rigging'', ''bogus salaries'', and to ''build rail track from Nigeria to Niger republic''.

Damn illiterates.

Why do I even bother with this Low IQ forum?
