On today's episode of wtf. Ryu Jun yeol and iu have been cast in a drama called money game and I'm just like ehn, please we already had a drama called money game 2 years ago and I know there's probably no trademark policies on drama titles but can these ones change their drama name. I don't need confusion abeg

So my fellow iu stans on Twitter have schooled me. Apparently the drama is an adaptation of a webtoon called money game. It's really popular in Korea and existed before the 2020 money game drama. There's even a YouTube series based on it and giving it another name might confuse people. Anyway I guess I just have to be content with the dramas sharing the same titles at least the plots are totally different

Random post : #videofashion. Mv for today is sunny hill's here I am. They wear uniforms and individual clothes. They looked nice but I could get only jubi's clothes cos she was the main actress in the Mv.

ABOUT THE MV

Theres a storyline. We get an intro where Jubi and her boyfriend break up and it's pretty clear he's the only one that wants the breakup and she's not over him. The main mv starts and we see her sleeping in a Cafe? run by the other girls, she is woken up by one of them and happily leaves, as she's walking she keeps seeing hallucinations of her ex and she seems worried as she experiences brief flashbacks of good times with him. She goes home and wants to make a cup of coffee for herself but somehow finds herself making 2 cups and calling out "oppa". She suddenly flashes back and searches her house, she finds a complementary card belonging to the girls that run the Cafe, she goes there asking why she can't remember getting the card and why she keeps having memories of a man she doesn't know. They show her a picture of her and the guy and tell her he's her ex who broke up with her, she couldn't handle the pain so she came to them to hypnotize her and that is why she forgot about him. She remembers everything and she starts crying and begging for hypnosis again. They hypnotize her and we see the scene in the beginning where they wake her up from the Cafe and she leaves happily. The Cafe girls smile and burn the picture of jubi and her ex. Hopefully this time he'll be out of her memory for good.

Storyline : 10/10. I really liked it. I also liked the fact that I'm a bit confused cos I'm not exactly sure how many times she went for the hypnosis cos in the beginning it seemed like she was woken up from the first hypnosis but she was wearing the same outfit she wore after they told her the truth and hypnotized her again. So did all that happen in one day or I don't get it but I love that I don't get it lol

Styling : 10/10. Appropriate outfits all round, didn't like the uniform sha but I can ignore it

Choreography : no Choreography

Set design / props : 10/10

Acting : 10/10.

Best/worst actor : well jubi did more of the acting and she was great so....

Who stood out the most : they all did tbh

Yeah. What really happened self? Was it COVID-19? I remembered watching only ep02 and since then I've been wondering why there's no release of new episodes?

Apparently the drama distorted history so netizens complained and kbs had to pull out the drama. I don't know much about the details cos it's a sageuk and I never planned to watch it anyways

APPRECIATION POST FOR JUNG HAE IN

LOL he might be a dummy (what, with his unintelligent way of answering simple questions about snowdrop, God abeg) but he did give me 2 back to back military characters which meant abs and biceps galore with lots of tight fitting black shirts and his tight a**. Hubba hubba, oppa is fit as f^cuk and even if he is lacking in the sense department (hopefully not) at least he's a really good actor with a really tight as.... OK I think I've said that already

My (hopefully) unbiased opinion : yugyeom's song is a nice rnb. I usually expect more from cha cha malone's production but this one was just very generic rnb so even though it's a nice song, I wasn't impressed.

Uniq's song is a nice rnb pop, this was from their first album and I actually watched the video of their debut showcase and I remember being very impressed by how talented all members were vocally. It's rare to see a new group where all the members were vocally strong.

Davichi's song is an ost. A ballad as usual lol, generic but they kill it as usual

Kim Tae woo's is also an ost ballad. Also generic but he also kills it. He has a beautiful voice

If I had to score yugyeom, davichi and Kim Tae woo would get 2.5/5 and uniq 5/5
