The only time we ever get to hear the real truth from the people from the other side is when a thread is created showing the deficiencies of their elected officials,their inadequacies and the deplorable situations of their region rubbed in their faces. Na that time dem dey open up and a wise guy will just understand that their beefs, rants and frustrations are all down to hatred and jealousy. If their own place not good, other places must not be good too. So, whenever they see anyone or other states doing good, they're naturally inclined to hate.
Just yesterday, a thread was created about the beat Abia state governor since 1999 and I was surprised to know that these people are seriously suffering in silence.

These guys just wanna be doing senseless projects that will further enrich them while basic needs are ignored. Why not build good industries, why not empower farmers in a big way, how many people have good food to have strength to use the stadium? And people will still be clapping for them, SMH.. poverty is indeed a strong tool that evil people use. God help Nigeria.

After 9years, I finally arrived Abakiliki and my village in Ebonyi state. I was all tears... This man transformed a bush to a city. Solid roads, solid flyovers, good housing plans, quality facilities. All I saw was class class and class. My love and respect for him increases. The only thing someolpeople including me don't like about him is joining that demonic party APC. But apart from that you can't just stop loving him.

Now I can proudly say, I have a state. Some fools said he is developing his state and not developing human capacities. They are simply foolish bc this man is doing all. You need to create an aesthetaic environment to attract investors and that's what he is doing. Right now, industries are opening up and more will come. Dav has set the pace, my only prayers is that other governors continue in that pace to ensure continuity. I will with no doubt support any person he brings to ensure continuity.

My brothers and sisters, stop saying rubbish, stop arguing like a fool... Make a trip even if it is just for fun to Ebonyi and I promise you you will join me in tears of how the state has transfigurate.

Taking up mega projects without completion.....he should channel the resources for this stadium to the airport project....the ultra modern market @ spel in deo is yet to be completed,the gigantic conference center @ same spel in deo is yet to be completed and commissioned for use,some of the fancy light he used to decorate the roads are falling off.........it's not about building bridges and decorating the city with lights....most projects executed can't last.i have visited the state capital and I know what am saying.

Honestly this man is awesome and an enigma......... his developmental strides are second to none... imagine more than 18 state of the art solid flyovers and other next generation facilities built during his time as governor and still counting....I went and saw them with my Koro Koro eyes.....
His roads construction are one of the best in modern history......he is truly an engineer developing for tomorrow's generation....

most of the projects executed by umahi are just fancy coloured project with poor quality that can last 4long.....the gigantic structures and mulitple flyovers @ spel-in-deo is without any economic benefit.....what ebonyi state needs is a governor with industrial and agricultural vision to tap into d states mineral and agricultural resource 2boost d state economy...the resources in that state is untapped...not building colourful flyovers,roads fitted with coloured lights and massive airport whereas d state is swimming in poverty.
