The problem with Nigeria is lack of organisation. For instance, we never got around to creating institutions, bodies etc charged specifically with handling these, occasionally bloody, communal lands/border clashes that arises often in the country.

Whose responsibility, National, state, local govt ?

You'd suppose that because of its regularity, given the compound nature of our nation due to colonial history, that an organisation set up specifically to handle these sorts of disputes would be one of our first institutions.

It's sad to say that Cross Rivers has always been a land of cannibals. Right from when Mary Slessor stopped the killing of twins in their region, wanton human sacrifice has not left their blood. Few months back, they burnt 4 young boys to death in one of their villages because they were accused of stealing a phone less than 35k. Terrible place!
