We lost to Tunisia under Eguavon so no shame in that
Goal keeping error, playing 2 supporting strikers & tactical changes in second half were probably the only mistakes
We lacked a few top forwards in Afcon Osimhen, Onuachu, Ighalo
Super Eagles missed quite a number of chances in Afcon
Umar Sadiq & Awoniyi aren’t regular starters.
Plus we don’t have a good goalie
Red card messed up our game
We would have equalized if you ask me.
The only clear cut chance we had to score was at 90th minute.

Eguavon should have multiple formation options to adapt to teams & tactics
4-4-2 only won’t cut it once they properly man or zonal mark our wingers.
3-5-2 was what we used effectively against Iceland
Ndidi & Onyeka (box to box) might be better defensively than Ndidi & Aribo in the middle.

Be appreciative for once! Rohr was in charge for 5yrs+ and he didn't impact anything positive on our football. But within weeks,there was renaissance in Nigeria football. Strategy and sumptuous football was restored. So,why not appreciate him

if he had watch Tunisia matches, we wouldn't have lost that simple match to me because Tunisia were even playing defence with us in the start of the game but when they realized our attack is soft then they take advantage

I will still choose eguaveon as coach anytime anyday. The guy is too good. I don't look at it flaws. I look at the positivity he brought to the team. Football is not about winning trophy. The best team can lose unpredictable, the same way such happen to France at euro 2021. If we give him more time, I think it will be better.
