why? I have a Murano, it has been having problem with movement, one mechanic adviced me to convert the gearbox with a nissan Altima gearbox, is that a good idea? How did you resolve your Murano problems.


Another adviced me to just change the injector mouth. Is this also a good idea?

I don't know what da hell to do. I have another car but i like to drive the Murano the other one runs on too much petrol.

I don't dare go near anything car that is not Toyota... I have a very clean fx 45 Infinity for sale.....you can't
believe the high offer I have gotten so far is 700k.
But the Toyota Camry 2.0 I bought for my official work 3years ago for 1.5m......we just sold for 1.5m

Avoid those 2 mechanics. Seek someone who knows what he is doing. Nothing concerns transmission issue with injector mouth. If your transmission is bad, have it replaced and use the recommended nissan NS2. I believe its scarce, but u can also use this one as replacement. Provided you get a good replacement transmission and original cvt oil.

Nissan has always been an issue all over the world. No matter the model... the value highly depreciates so easily. Majority of Nigerian buy cars you could easily dispose. I remember using Volvo S40.. It takes me up to decades to dispose it. same applies to my Peugeot 307 sw. but I disposed my Camry easily even at a higher value I bought it.

I love Nissan pathfinder it is very rugged but when you look at the depreciating value... it makes me to rethink of having one.

I’ve never had one issue with my Murano.
It’s actually what I’d call the utility vehicle cos I don’t use my nicer car for random stuff. The Murano’s been through it. goes everywhere, get loaded up and long distance when needed. Not one issue. It’s been 3 years.

What’s a gearbox? I don’t know

I just make sure it doesn’t skip scheduled maintenance that’s it.

A gearbox is the box were the gears and selector are in, the gearbox is the reason why you can drive from gear 1,2,3,4 and reverse

Without the gearbox the car wouldn't even move let alone drive.

Im moving to my 5th nissan. An infiniti QX56.from the 1991 nissan pathfinder se v6 manual 4wd,to 1996 pathfinder, to 2000 pathfinder, to 2003 pathfinder, now im on the 2005 nissan pathfinder. Im selling not because i have any issues but cos there is no reason to keep 2 full size suv.

From almera, to sentra to primera, to murano and pathfinder, there is no car maker withour a cvt. Even Toyota and honda cvts flood the market and highways.

Every car made by man has it flaws,but once u get the wrong car, u wld think the car is the problem. I have used opel, Mitsubishi, Subaru and the rest but there is never a time u wont find a nissan with me. Most especially the nissan pathfinder. Serves well, very reliable and i havent regretted since.

When you want a car, try find out from those who have truly owned and used the car not from those who feed you with beer parlor talks and lies. Most people with a pathfinder hardly sell it cos of it being very rugged.

Get a good nissan, maintain as u ought to and ull be fine. Simple as ABC
