But from observation after watch Nigeria in the AfCON I think Umar Sadiq has better positioning than Awoniyi. That is why whenever he is playing, he gets the ball easily and he is more open to receive through passes too. He just need more confidence build.
But same cannot be said of Awoniyi. Homeboy is always in hiding. It's difficult to get the ball across to him. His strength is in Tackling opponents

Although I was a fan of Awoniyi, but it's very clear that Awoniyi is not a true striker... he lacks positioning, he cannot play with his back to goal, and he lacks the fox in the box instincts. I just categorise Awoniyi as a ball carrying, power forward however he is not a true 9.

I was not a fan of Sadiq, but I got to realize that he positions very well, he actually plays with his back to goal, and he can be a fox in the box... his finishing is suspect though, but between both of them, he has the attributes of a true number 9... It's very clear that if he works harder he will get better.

What I am saying is these days, if you fake your age... there are medical scanning machines that can accurately discover it during medicals and if that's the case, no contract...

So players have literally stopped age faking especially if they are aspiring for big clubs that can potentially discover that with technology

Lol! So a club will do a skeletal MRI and come out to dispute the age on your passport when that age is the final based in Fifa regulations? That MRI (IF they do it) is to advise the medical team. There is a reason clubs have only acquired him on short term loans.

You can position yourself from Nigeria to Jerusalem, if the middlefield and the wingers are not providing you crossing you needed,you will remain useless in the entire 90 minutes.
