What Is This Idea Surrounding 'man Parts'? by TheBeezybee(op): 12:07pm On Feb 04, 2022
One of the days, I visited my sister.
She was in the kitchen cooking. While frying the chicken, her husband came in and said
"Hope you reserved the man part because that one is meant for me as the man of the house".

My sister responded positively saying that she has reserved it.

We laughed about it and I said,

"Who brought this idea of 'man part' in your chicken or any kind of meat?

I still don't have an answer to that.

It most communities this is still heard.

When there is a gathering and the elders are seated, there is this special reservation of food especially for the men.

If it's meat that is being shared, there is the part called 'man part' that must be reserved specially for the men.

Like they say in some communities, if a woman eats that particular part that ought to be reserved for the man; she will have to get a full chicken or a full goat depending on the kind of meat.

Interesting!

So, in your community do you reserve 'man parts' before eating your chicken or any meat?

Culture and traditions carried over the years... In my own town, a woman can be sent packing if she eats the gizzard of the chicken. It is for the husband grin
I greatly pirry women that lived in the olden days... Their husbands were demi-gods
