Nobody will call it voodoo. It was obvious he had an ideal where many would place his penalty given how he dived to save the penalty during normal time. Funny enough many applied a shot,so if you were not sure you can't save such penalty taken with such power.

Yet, they got his weak point! He's not good at saving low, ground-level shots. Senegal players were smarter. They still maintained the same direction in their penalty shootouts but made the shot go either faster than he would be able to stop or lower than he would be able to get.

A good pk taker doesn't care if you follow his balls, they will enter most of the time eg Nistelrooy, RVP, Henry, zidane, pirlo, ronaldo, Gerrard, lampard
