With the recently introduced "MaskID" embedded in iOS 15.4 public beta released by Apple; there have been a quiet a noise about it in the tech-verse. For iPhone users, this update is great given the situation the world is in now but as usual there's a small minority of people mostly Android folks that keep asking "why not introduce fingerprint back on the iPhone?" Although to me, both system are good at what they are meant to do, there is one statement that the pro fingerprint group keep making that usually sounds okay on the surface until you reason it deeply then you find out how dumb the statement is. The statement isn't really the problem but the vast majority of people that are quick to point it out. I fear for future generations if basic thinking is hard for our generation to do. Here's the statement which is usually in the Top 5 points on why fingerprint is better than FaceID: [i]"With fingerprint, you can unlock your phone without looking at it."[\i] As we can agree, on the surface it sounds reasonable to be considered a good point but if you think it further it begs the question "why would you unlock your phone if you don't intend to look at it in the first place?" Because once you look at your phone FaceID comes into play which invalidate the whole point. sighs! |

Finger print is more secured Imagine when you're sleeping and your babe just puts your iphone to your face kasala go burst But imagine when she's trying to raise your finger as a sharp man u go wake up |

Flamees:She would have to hold both your eyes open too while at it. With fingerprint, she only has to nudge you to free your hands. It's much more convenient for anyone to cop your fingerprint when you're asleep |

I would always prefer fingerprint to face id cos of the various accessbility options that come with it i mean, i can pick calls, turn off alarms, record call conversations and even take pictures and make security verifications using the fingerprint sensor anyways, what do i know?  |

aminusodiq:we was referring to fingerprint. The other guy implied that if you sleep and someone raise your finger, you will automatically wake up. |

Once you activated these two features in the FaceID settings. No one can unlock your phone if you’re not aware and looking into the Face ID sensor camera. So, I think it’s the best secure form of security ever. My babe use to open my phone when I was using infinix and Redmi with my fingerprint anything I went out to drink and return back. At times, it leads to she beating me  Cox of one thing one thing. iPhones with fingerprint are less secured. I use to open her iPhone 7 with her fingerprint while she sleep. All these na old tales as I’m very single now and happy. Thanks all
