The family of a young investor who killed himself thinking he had suffered huge losses on Robinhood have sued the trading app. Alexander Kearns, 20, took his own life when he mistakenly believed he had lost $730,000 on the trading platform, that he had used since high school. His parents plan to file a lawsuit on Monday accusing Robinhood of wrongful death, negligent infliction of emotional distress and unfair business practices, according to CBS News.
