Africa is Rising!

This February 22nd, Senegal will officially open their new 50000-capacity Diamniadio Stadium which has been nicknamed "the African Allianz Arena" (in reference to Bayern Munich's stadium)!

The multipurpose Diamniadio Stadium costs some 150 billion francs, and will boast the same quality of hybrid turf as that of Munich's Allianz Arena.

The Diamniadio Stadium is set to host the 2026 Youth Olympic Games. It has a technology that permits its front seats to be withdrawn when the athletic track is to be used. At night the edifice can shine in various colours.

It is hoped that the ground, built by Turkish company Summa, will be a reference for African football. For the inauguration, President Macky Sall is expecting some African Heads of States , as well as football legends across the continent.

I was watching match at the olembe city stadium is like I was watching champions league match . Africans are busy building world class stadium we are busy celebrating campaign grounds as stadium look at what anambra who have maduka, obi cubana,peter obi, Emoney,ifeanyi ubah home of billionaires could come up with?
