This is a fallacy, because Obi is barely popular outside the East.

Political popularity does not sway me. After all, even Fashola was barely known when Tinubu introduced him to us. And we are all witnesses to what he did in Lagos state.

I support Mr. Peter Obi for president.

Tinubu to me is a continuation of everything wrong with Nigerian politician. His presence alone in Aso rock is an endorsement of the old order, in policy he is not different from Buhari and has also promised to continue from where Buhari ended. As a God father, none of his prodegee have excelled outside Lagos. And mind you anybody can can do well in Lagos because Lagos is already made since independence.

Peter Obi's dream is dead on arrival and won't sell. He's not necessarily a colorful politician aside the fact that his media friends try to advertise his flawled knowledge of the economy on their respective breakfast shows, where most of the stats he churms out are false. Also, He's so cocooned within his Onitsha environment and lacks that geographical versatility a presidential aspirant ought to be known for, never mind his duplicitous claims about his frugal lifestyle. Peter Obi is a big no no already.
