Maybe he forks up in smaller games most times but the thing is that his players are not encouraging.

Espanyol played 5 midfielders against our 3. If Gavi wasn't played, we would have struggled more in the middle since Dest cannot do the excellent work Dani Alves did against Atleti before his sending off.

We don't have alot of options in the midfield and most of our players are Spanish. Our foreign experiments have failed us in the last 6 years. Abumeyang is still clearly not matchfit. Umtiti and Lenglet are still out injured. Alba has no replacement. I dont know where you're getting your Spanish favouritism from.

Dembele has been awful in the corner kicks. We dont seem to have any decent taker apart from Memphis Depay, who is still not match fit.

We cant seem to catch a break. In the beginning of the season, it was a attacking crisis. Now it is a defensive crisis with injuries and suspensions.

Hopefully, Araujo can play against Valencia next Sunday. That boy can recover like magic

One other thing I saw in these match today is that our midfielders have dribbling skills but no shooting skills.

Taking the ball from defense to attack some times takes like 7-8 players touching the ball times and times again. They waste time tiki-takaring till all the opposing team players comes back to their box to shore up all spaces available.

Even at the edge of the box, they won't shoot. They would rather be turning around to pass. If Adama didn't take the initiative to cross that ball from like 35yards away, the game would have ended 2-1.

I agree with you about the favoritism part, partially.

But the only reason why I am against Gavi is his reluctance to release key passes immediately. This should have been addressed already by bringing in Auba and playing Ferran on the wings or better still, remove Ferran for Dembele.

Barca now lacks midfielders that can give final passes to strikers.

Just look at when Auba came in, one can count number of touches he had.

CB, LB, RB, DM the whole backline has to be overhauled, Garcia hasn't really put on great shifts, We got Araujo from Barca b, xavi and his coaches should also look within and see if there's any gem there we can use to temporarily patch things up till summer, Mika marmol and Diego almeida are there,We are still 4th but just by Goal difference since the rest won

Thank you. I've been waiting for someone to say this. We git Araujy from the B team, same as Gavi and Nico. We can try replicate that for the CB role. At least until the summer when we get reinforcements.

I know Barcelona already has plans for 3 defenders next summer but we have to have a makeshift players we can work with for the time being seeing as Eric, Lenglet and Umtiti are shit.

I don't think we are lacking creative midfielders... What I think is wrong with us is the inability of the forwards to make open runs. The only person capable of doing that is Adama and if you look at it well, you'd notice that we chose to play through Gavi's position and isolate Adama so that they get overwhelmed when we eventually go through Traore's position. But it just didn't work because we lacked that connecting midfielder in Pedri and Busi yesterday. Both were just off.

Apart from his craving for home, Adama didn't want to play as a wingback under Conte as opposed to his favorite position as a winger, If not he would probably have been in London now, Totenham offered him 150k, while we gave him 15k, He might be there as a makeshift Full back or wingback if the obvious starters are not there, It's a dicey situation

He's better as a winger biko, it would be criminal to waste that searing pace in a defensive role. I know you'd probably talk about the Canadian leftback for Bayern, but Bayern can afford him as a left back cos they already have other speedsters occupying the left wing role.
