Same way unkown aregbesola couldnt win in 2007, but Tinubu won for him through court in 2010. Aregbesola was a disaster, he claim to be an ijesa man, but lost almost every vote in Ijesha land, ife-ijesa senatorial is currently under pdp. So the only example you can give is going far North to A state that has a presidential candidate from the same party as the elected Governor, why not talk about how a Sitting President lost in 2015 and how a Senate president couldn’t return to the Senate because he was defeated woefully
