CAF Champions League holders Al Ahly have maintained their seat as Africa’s top ranked team on the International Federation of Football History and Statistics (IFFHS) table. IFFHS has released the latest ranking involving 200 teams drawn from across the world today, Tuesday. The Egyptian side is ranked 26th in the world followed by 37th positioned Wydad Casablanca then fellow Moroccans Raja Casablanca (42), Belouizdad from Algeria (60) and Kabylie from Algeria 77 and Tanzania’s Simba on 100th position.
