Sensational Kylian Mbappe scored a brilliant goal in stoppage time as Paris St-Germain, PSG, beat 13-time Champions League winners Real Madrid in the first leg of their last-16 tie.

Also, seven-time Ballon d’Or winner, Lionel Messi blew a golden opportunity to open the scoring for PSG against Real Madrid but his penalty kick was saved by goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois.

The clash of the Champions League titans was deadlocked at 0-0 when PSG talisman Messi had a chance from the spot-kick.

But all thanks to Mbappe’s stoppage-time winner at Parc des Princes which gave the home side a relief ahead of the second leg clash at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Your Mr assist has no single assist in the champions league. Mbappe saves his ass as usual. Without mbappe, psg will b absolutely useless. Still some people think Messi is best player in psg . Mbappe is PSG's top goal scorer and top assist in the champions league and also in the league. Messi still hv failed to score real madrid since 2017/18 season. Someone even called Messi the god of psg and I asked what then will u call mbappe or past players like Ibrahimovic and cavani.

Did u see Ronaldo's goal last night? Messi is finished . 7 goals and we are 3 months to end of season . Messi hasn't done anything significant for psg , he is just feeding on mbappe . Without mbappe, Messi will only be on 1 goal this season . He was about to fist on another mbappe work when he missed a penalty penalty mbappe won with his brilliance. Must you mention cr7 how us cr7 finished? At 37 he is manutd top scorer, he is single handedly dragging manutd to top4 he single handedly draged manutd to the round of 16 just remove Mpape from that team and see how they struggles
