Vladmir Invaded Georgia in 2008 or so, Nothing happened. He annexed Crimea, nothing happened. He would have invaded Ukraine and nothing will happen. US will not risk an all out war because of Ukraine. You think Russia gathered 200k troops just for fun They may not be an economic power like the US, but they possess the deadliest nukes (in terms of number and damage capability).
US cannot risk an all out nuclear war because of UKRAINE, otherwise they would have gone to war when Russia took Crimea.
They have struck a deal and that is it. Russia is not interested in war, they just want to achieve a purpose of not allowing Ukraine enter NATO.
