The Owa Obokun of Ijesaland, Oba (Dr) Gabriel Aromolaran has lampooned the traducers of Osun Governor Adegboyega Oyetola.

He said those opposing his second term bid can harm, the Governor will emerge victorious in the 2022 governorship poll.

Oba Aromolaran spoke while receiving Oyetola in his palace during the continuous strategic tour tagged ‘Have you in mind always’, in Ijesha South Federal Constituency comprising of Ilesha East, Atakunmosa West and East Local Government Areas.

He assured Oyetola that all Ijesha people will vote for home, stating “Ijesha is not known for rascality.”

According to him: “Oyetola will win governorship election for the second term. Anything I tell God, he answers it. You don’t need to waste your time soliciting votes in Ijesha because you already have our support, your outstanding performance is enough to earn our vote. You came for the commissioning of this palace despite your busy schedule.

“We can’t be an ingrate to you at the point you need our support. there is no other person to be voted for during the 2022 Osun governorship election other than Oyetola.

“We don’t give room for rascality in Ijesha land. The support we will give you includes peace. We have warned our wards that they should not get themselves involved in thuggery.


“I pledge on behalf of the Ijesha people that we shall give your administration full support to ensure that you win come July 16 2022. Oyetola is so special to me. I always pray with my whole heart for our governor to be victorious.

He added: “Oyetola is the candidate that will win Ijesha land, whosoever oppose his candidature can smash his head on pole in Ijesha land.

“If they count the votes ten times, he will win against all odds. I am not opposing any political party, but as far as I know, Oyetola will win Ijesha land because I am in full control of this land.”

He admonished Oyetola to upgrade the College of Education Ilesha to a University.

Oyetola told the monarch he was seeking his blessings ahead of the APC primary and guber polls in July 2022.

That's a wrong comment by a supposed elder and a tradition custodian...it's a democracy and people must not support one person! It's the beauty of democracy when people contest and opportunity is given to the people to choose! He should have sounded more diplomatic but some of these elders are drug addicts

People that can forgive Wike for obigbo massacre...to the extent of preferring him to Sanwolu who refuse to bamboozle a police man just because he is connected to Tinubu...

We deserve the kind of leaders we get truly..infact if I was a leader today....I will get much love just by saying my life is in danger for not supporting Tinubu...

The noise of division in Osun APC has thrown them into confusion. Instead of Osun PDP to continue their campaign massively, they are busy trending Aregbe vs Tinubu upandan.

Oyetola and his people oriented policies saved him

I know of a woman who prays for Oyetola almost everytime I see her, she had stroke because Aregbe wouldn't pay their pension and gratuity for years but soon as Oyetola got there he compiled their names and began paying pension immediately, soon after he fully paid their gratituty in millions

Aregbe should enjoy his billions made from Opon imo scam, Oshogbo Airport scam and other White Elephant and blue kangaroo projects, nobody is disturbing him

Watch how Ikpeazu kerosene supporters start supporting Aregbesola and Abusing the revered Monarch for saying the plain truth to his subjects

All this political royal fathers that is supposed to be impartial in the schemes of politics will chose to be acting anyhow because of favour from politicians no wonder they are always rubbished by same politicians...

Its saddening that Custodians of our Traditions are now stooge for Politicians. A custodian "King, Oba or Emirs" are supposed to be Apolitical and leaders of their People... Ok what if Oyetola loses Election? How would he relate with the winner he never supported?
